Police are searching for Austin Severight, 20, on attempted murder charges.

Severight is facing charges after a stabbing on the Yellow Quill First Nation on Monday.

Emergency crews were called after an altercation on the main service road around 6:25 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 22-year-old man with stab wounds.

The victim was taken to hospital in Saskatoon with serious injuries.

Severight has been charged with attempted murder, uttering threats, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and other charges. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

He is described as indigenous, 5’8” tall, 165 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.
