A man has been charged with driving without due care and attention after driving a tractor that was towing an air seeder in Saskatoon’s northend.
The 51-year-old man had the proper permit to transport the equipment but created some damage along the way, according to Saskatoon police. He was driving southbound on Wanuskewin Road just after 8 p.m. Monday when the tractor and seeder struck a light pole and several construction barricades, cones and signs.
Saskatoon Light and Power was called to the scene after the light standard was knocked completely to the ground. There was visible damage to some of the construction equipment.
