Months after a brutal sexual assault at a Saskatoon playground, a Prince Albert man is sentenced.
Residents near the Ashworth Holmes Park were on edge after the July attack as they waited for an arrest to made. A 19-year-old playground leader arrived for work at the park last summer. A man, armed with a rock, sexually assaulted her at a nearby building.
It took weeks for police to be able to arrest 24-year-old Calvin Keegan Dillon in Edmonton. But on Tuesday afternoon, Dillon pled guilty to charges relating to the crime, and was sentenced to six and a half years in prison.
