An armed robber has been taken into custody following an incident in a small community in central Saskatchewan.
On Tuesday, a man entered a bank in Quill Lake, east of Saskatoon. He produced a weapon, and made off in a truck with cash.
RCMP were able to then track the truck to Highway #16 in the Maymont area, about 250 kilometers away.
Matthew James Halpape, 21, was arrested along the side of the highway. The Quill Lake man appeared in a Saskatoon courtroom Wednesday morning.
