Crews continue to work on a broken water main at the intersection of Guelph Street and Riverbend Drive in Kitchener.
Repair crews could be seen in the area around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The city says the 1962 eight-inch cast iron water main will take about 8 to 12 hours to repair and are asking people to avoid the area for the next 12 hours.
Currently, six residents are without water. The city says they anticipate that the water should be back on by 4 p.m.
Riverbend Drive will be closed from Wellington to Guelph Streets in both directions until around 8 p.m.
