RCMP say they’ve found nothing suspicious after a bomb threat prompted the evacuation of all Kindersley, Sask. schools Tuesday morning.

“A police walk through of all schools has been completed and nothing suspicious has been located at this time,” RCMP said in a media update.

Mounties received a report of a bomb at a Kindersley school at around 9:35 a.m. No specific school was identified in the threat.

RCMP contacted Sun West School Division and the division decided to evacuate all schools in the community.

Over 900 students from Elizabeth Elementary School, Westberry Elementary School and Kindersley Composite School, including Independent Education School, were removed from their schools. Great Plains College was also evacuated, RCMP said.

Police conducted walk-throughs in each school and, at12:30 p.m., indicated they had yet to find anything suspicious.

An RCMP media release provided no word on whether students would soon be returning to their schools.

Police are still investigating.
