Jayda Taylor is a video journalist with a passion for character-driven, personal stories that speak to social issues, particularly mental health. She enjoys reporting on crime, health and Indigenous affairs. Jayda is originally from Lumsden, Sask., and completed her degree at the University of Regina’s School of Journalism in 2019. Immediately after university, she moved to Prince Albert to work as a print reporter and photographer. Jayda decided to become a journalist because of a life-long passion for creative writing and storytelling, coupled with an interest in news as she grew up.
