Saskatoon police say the death of a 22-year-old woman found New Year’s Day was accidental in nature.
An autopsy completed Thursday afternoon, combined with evidence from the scene and police interviews, indicates foul play was not a factor, according to police.
The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was found dead shortly after 10:30 a.m. Sunday on the 1500 block of 20th Street West.
Toxicology results are pending, police say. The coroner’s office is taking over the investigation.
