Flames and smoke billowed into the night sky during a large house fire just south of saskatoon.
At around 6:00pm, Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services were called to a the scene of a blaze in the River Gardens Estates just off Valley road.
Several trucks arrived to find a two story home engulfed in flames.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
The home was undergoing renovations that were recently completed. At this point damage is estimated at $450,000
