A case of a dead animal discovered near a Prince Albert pet store is raising alarm.
The bloody carcass of a coyote was found abandoned in a shopping cart outside the Petland store.
The SPCA was called and workers came to the store where they examined the animal. Officials are not sure how the female coyote was killed, but they believe it may have been hit by a car.
They're wondering why anyone would go to the effort to leave a dead animal in a shopping cart at a pet store.
