City crews are working to fix a giant sinkhole just off of Idylwyld Drive.

The hole opened up Tuesday afternoon on 36th Street, between Idylwyld Drive and Alberta Avenue. It was caused by a break in a storm sewer.

The sinkhole was just over a meter in diameter and about a meter deep when crews started working on it.

Repairs could take up to two days. For now, 36th Street between Idylwyld Drive and Alberta Avenue are closed to traffic.
