Crews battle garage fire in Saskatoon's Sutherland neighbourhood
Saskatoon firefighters battled a garage fire in Sutherland on Monday.
Crews were called to the scene — an alleyway in the 800 block of Rutherford Way — just after 3 p.m. on Monday, according to a Saskatoon Fire Department news release.
Smoke was rising from an attached garage when they arrived, with crews pulling out hose lines while others confirmed no one was inside the building.
No one was injured in the response, the fire department said.
A fire investigator has not yet offered an estimate of the damages or ruled on a cause of the blaze.
