At least 20 Canadian Pacific Railway cars derailed southeast of Saskatoon early Friday morning.

The freight train came off the tracks shortly before 8 a.m., about a kilometre west of the community of Blucher.

No one was injured, according to a CP spokesperson. No dangerous goods were spilled.

CP emergency teams and cleanup crews were still on scene early Friday afternoon. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said investigators were being sent to the site.

The cause of the derailment is not yet known.
