Eunice Wudrich was the Aberdeen area foster mother of 22-month-old Evander Daniels. The boy drowned in a bath tub in her home in July. Wudrich is accused of criminal negligence causing death and endangering the life of a child.
Although the date for a preliminary hearing has not yet been set, a case management date has been set for January 28, 2011. Lawyers have been trying to speed up the court process, but Chris Martell, the boy's father, says he is growing impatient.
"This is so frustrating," said Martell. "I've been so left in the dark here. It's unfortunate I have to hear the details of my son's death through the court. I just want to get some answers."
