Two 13 year old boys from Saskatoon face arson charges after three separate fires Tuesday and Wednesday that caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages.

The first was at a duplex under construction on 109 Street in Saskatoon, that happened around 6 pm Tuesday.

It caused an estimated 20,000 dollars damage.

A second fire broke out in a garbage bin behind Sutherland School around 9:30 Tuesday evening.

The third occurred the next morning around 7 am at another home under construction, in the 300 block of 111 Street.

Police said the boys were charged after a “brief” investigation.

They made their first court appearance on Thursday.
