RCMP have arrested one of two men charged in a double homicide on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation.

Kimmy Randall Bear, 24, was arrested after police surrounded a house on the reserve around noon on Thursday.

Bear faces two charges of second-degree murder, and one charge of attempted murder.

Police are still looking for 21 year old Carl Anthony Albert, who also faces two charges of second-degree murder, and one charge of attempted murder.

On Monday, a home on Ahtahkakoop burned down, and the bodies of two men - William Ahenakew, and Trez Sparvier-Scott - were found in the rubble.

Police say a four year old girl who was also in the home was rescued. She remains in hospital in Saskatoon.

On Wednesday, police announced they had arrested 19-year-old Dominic Chase Ahenakew, and charged him with two counts of second-degree murder.
