An armed robbery has shaken residents on Saskatoon's west side.

At around 7:00pm Tuesday, two men armed with guns stormed through a Shoppers Drug Mart on 22nd Street West.  The robbers immediately made their way to the pharmacy. A clerk working in the store says the men demanded and received an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs.

Witnesses note a white extended van parked just outside the front doors moments before the robbery.

A search by canine units yielded nothing, but with so many witnesses, police do have a description of the suspects.

One is described as between 5'10" and 6 feet tall, wearing a brown coat, dark pants, grey hat, and a white scarf covering the face.

The second is also described as between 5'10" and 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket, jeans, a black hat with grey scarf covering his face.

Both suspects are believed to be between 25 and 30 years old.

No one was injured, and no shots were fired during the incident.
