An amber alert has been issued for a 14-year-old Saskatchewan girl who was last seen Wednesday night.
Maple Creek RCMP issued the alert Thursday morning for Katelyn Mosquito. She is described as aboriginal, 5-foot-3, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. RCMP say she is approximately eight months pregnant. She is believed to be wearing an orange hoodie that says “Maple Creek Composite High” and pajama-type pants.
Police say they believe she was taken by Jonathan Hansen, 16, also from the Maple Creek area. He is described as a Caucasian male, about 5-foot-11, 150 pounds with light brown hair and blue/gray eyes. He has body modification of both ears.
The suspect may be driving a green 1995 Ford Escort with Saskatchewan plate 637 HEE and may be travelling westbound into Alberta.
