The man wanted in an alleged online rental scam in Saskatoon has been arrested in Regina.
In total, Saskatoon Police received 25 complainants from people who tried to rent an apartment from Jason Hartlen.
Potential renters were lured to an apartment on Kingsmere Boulevard, shown the space, then signed fake lease documents.
The hopeful renters who signed leases also handed over roughly $1,000 each for damage deposits. The Saskatoon Police Service said it isn't known whether or not victims will get their money back.
Hartlen was arrested Thursday in Regina without incident. He's scheduled to appear in court in Saskatoon early next week.
