RCMP from Wadena and Wynyard attended a two-vehicle accident Friday night located by Elfros, Saskatchewan at Highways 16 and 35.
A pick-up truck was travelling eastbound on Highway 16 when it collided with a northbound car travelling on Highway 35.
One adult woman was confirmed dead on the scene, and two males from Wynyard were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic analysts from Regina were also on scene to assist with the investigation. Road conditions are not yet believed to be a factor.
