The province is shutting down a youth correctional facility near Saskatoon.
The Yarrow Youth Farm, located on the west end of 33rd Street just outside city limits, will close its doors at the end of March, Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Justice said.
The facility is underused, according to the province. Youth at Yarrow will be transferred to Kilburn Hall in the city’s Buena Vista area.
Orcadia Youth Residence near Yorkton is also set to close at the end of March.
