Saskatoon police are searching for a suspect after a woman was robbed at gunpoint on the 300 block of 26 street in Saskatoon on Thursday night.

Police arrived at the scene at approximately 11:40 pm. They say a man robbed the woman of her car keys, before stealing her 2009 blue Subaru Forester with Nova Scotia license plates.

Investigators brought a canine unit in to search for the suspect with no results.

He is described as an aboriginal male in his 20s, approximately 6’1” – 6’2” in height, slim build, and short black hair. He was wearing a t-shirt, dark pants, and a black or blue hat with a bandanna covering his face at the time of the incident. The weapon is described as a handgun.
