Three people are facing charges after a high-risk traffic stop by Saskatoon police over the weekend.

A vehicle was stopped Friday afternoon in front of the Midtown Plaza. Police said they received information that a person or persons suspected of being involved in an ongoing investigation were spotted on the 200 block of First Avenue South.

Three people were taken into custody as part of the stop.

Two 25-year-old men and a 37-year-old man are facing a charge of breaching recognizance.

Police have not yet given details about the ongoing investigation.
