Wakaw RCMP are investigating the theft of an Automated Teller Machine from the Credit Union in St. Louis, Sask.

Police were called to the Credit Union around 5:10 a.m. on Sunday. According to police, witnesses watched the suspects back up to the bank in a white Dodge truck and hook it up to the ATM. They dragged the ATM out of the bank and down the street, where they stopped to try to load it into the back of the truck.

They weren’t able to get the ATM into the truck and left St. Louis dragging it behind them. They were joined by another pickup truck, heading east on Highway 25 towards Birch Hills, Sask.

Prince Albert police are working with Wakaw RCMP. They are conducting interviews and looking at surveillance footage from the area.
