The United Way in Saskatoon is asking people to help Stuff the Bus.

People are being asked to donate items such as winter clothing, school supplies, underwear, socks, razors and other hygienic items.

Shaun Dyer, CEO of United Way Saskatoon and Area, said the community is at its best when everyone works together.

"Together as a community there's more going on than just our own interests," said Dyer.

"This is a bigger story, and to help the community thrive is in all of our best interests. We're better off when everybody is finding ways to find access and thrive in this city."

Dyer said the aim of the campaign is to help those in need and improve communities.

"Our focus is on children, building strong community and helping to move people from poverty to possibility."

Donations can be dropped off at the United Way building in Saskatoon.
