Two people injured after rollover crash

An 83-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after a rollover Thursday night.

The crash happened just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of 71^st Street East and Idylwyld Drive. Police say a Dodge Caravan was travelling eastbound on 71^st Street when it collided with a Kia sedan going northbound on Idylwyld Drive.  The collision caused the Caravan to tip over on its side.

Both the 83-year-old driver and 81-year-old passenger in the Caravan were taken to hospital. The 41-year-old man driving the Kia sedan was uninjured.

The SPS Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate.
