Saskatoon police are looking for one suspect after two off-sales were robbed at knifepoint early Tuesday morning.

Police were called to an attempted robbery at an off-sale on the 3900 block of 8th Street East around 12:15 a.m. The second incident occurred minutes later at an off-sale on the 800 block of Central Avenue where an undisclosed amount of cash and alcohol was robbed from the business.

The suspect in both robberies was brandishing a knife.

Police said in a media release, based on the description of the suspect in each robbery and on the sequence of events, the incidents may be related.

The lone suspect is described as man of aboriginal descent in his mid-to-late 20s and between five-foot-ten and six-feet tall. He was wearing a grey zip-up hoodie with navy blue stripes on the sleeves, baggy jeans and a black ball cap at the time of the incidents.
