Two people have been arrested and are facing more than 150 charges after numerous break and enters to apartment building laundry rooms.

A 38-year-old Saskatoon man is facing 14 charges while another 64 are pending. An 18-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing 78 charges in relation to the same incidents.

The pair was arrested earlier this month after an investigation into break and enters to laundry rooms in apartment blocks over the last three months. Police say the suspects damaged laundry machines in an effort to steal the money inside.

The break-ins occurred in most areas of the city and in some cases building mangers were not aware the offences occurred, police said in a media release.
