Two people have been charged after an armed robbery at Manos Restaurant and Lounge early Friday morning.
Police were called to the 2200 block of 22nd St. West for a report of an armed robbery around 2:30 a.m. The report indicated that two people with a gun had robbed the business.
Witnesses were able to describe the suspects and their vehicle to police. Police stopped a vehicle a short time later, and in the vehicle they found proceeds of the robbery, and a gun.
A 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman have been charged with robbery using a firearm, and using a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
