RCMP are investigating a possible abduction after a 12-year-old boy was found wandering on a range road northwest of Warman around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Police received a call that the boy was near the clean-fill disposal site on Range Road 3051 on the northwest edge of Warman.

Shortly after the call, police received another call about the same boy missing from a playground at the Prairie Oasis Park near Rigmor Street and 3rd Avenue South in Warman.

The boy was taken to hospital as a precaution and released shortly after.

Police are looking to speak with people in two pickup trucks that were spotted in the area of Range Road 3051 to determine if they say anything suspicious. One truck is red, the other is white, and both were seen in the area around the time.

Police are asking anyone who may have observed any unusual activity, or anyone with video surveillance footage in either the Prairie Oasis Park or Range Road 3051 areas, to call the Warman RCMP detachment 306-975-1670.

The Saskatoon Forensic Identification Section and the RCMP Police Dog Section are investigating the possible abduction.
