Two lanes of traffic were blocked Friday morning after a semi-truck caught fire on Saskatoon’s Circle Drive.
The driver of the truck called the fire department around 8:30 a.m. Officials say an electrical malfunction under the dash caused the fire, and that the cab of the truck went up in flames.
No one was injured, and a fire investigator determined the damage to be around $100,000.
Traffic was slowed on Circle and the nearby Airport Drive as crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
