A man had to be rescued by Saskatoon firefighters after being injured during a tobogganing mishap Monday night.

The man injured his leg after he lost control while going down the hill at Diefenbaker Park and struck a fence, Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services said in a news release. The accident took place at approximately 8 p.m.
