A third person has announced he is entering the race for mayor of Saskatoon.

Tom Wolf is a researcher with the University of Saskatchewan.

He told reporters Monday that Saskatoon needs a new vision, and new leadership.

Wolf believes the current council has been neglectful in managing Saskatoon’s rapid growth, and feels he could do a better job.

“I want the best for our city, and I want to move forward together,” Wolf told reporters.

“We have a tremendous opportunity…. to become a much better place to live, let’s move in that direction.”

Wolf has been president of the City Park Community Association and has served on numerous civic committees.

Current mayor Don Atchison has already announced he intends to run for another term. Former mayor Henry Dayday has also announced he intends to run.
