A 17-year-old male is in a Saskatoon hospital after suffering head injuries in a highway crash north of Nipawin.
The teen’s car crossed Highway 35 north into oncoming traffic Thursday when it was struck by a flat-bed truck carrying honey bees, Nipawin RCMP said in a news release.
The truck struck the car on the passenger side, causing the flat deck truck to roll once and the car to spin into the ditch.
The driver of the car was transported to hospital Saskatoon by ambulance. There was no information on the driver of the truck, a 16-year-old male.
RCMP say the investigation is continuing.
