Target wants to be seen as a good neighbour as it heads north to set up shop.
The US retail giant is pledging to donate $1 million to Canadian charities through its Facebook page this holiday season. The campaign asks Facebook users to visit its page and click to donate $100 of Target's money to one of six local charities it has chosen.
Target is set to open its first Canadian locations, including two stores in Saskatoon, this coming spring.
