RCMP are looking for multiple suspects after a vehicle driving erratically was stopped using a spike belt in La Ronge on Friday evening.

Stanley Mission RCMP received a call about an erratic driver around 9:30 p.m. The vehicle almost ran over a pedestrian, RCMP said in a media release. RCMP located the vehicle on Highway 915 and tried to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle fled from police and was not followed due to safety concerns. According to police, a check showed the vehicle was stolen out of Prince Albert.

Shortly after, La Ronge RCMP intercepted the vehicle on Highway 102. According to RCMP, they were able to deploy a spike belt. The occupants fled the vehicle and have not yet been found by police.

The vehicle is described as a 2013 four door grey Ford Fiesta.
