An 18-year-old suspect in a violent Prince Albert robbery has been arrested.

Prince Albert police arrested Chastin Seth Hall around noon Friday at a home in the city. Charges against him include robbery with violence, masked with intent and possessing a weapon.

An arrest warrant was issued for Hall one day after police released surveillance images from a Feb. 14 robbery at a business on the 600 block of 15th Avenue East.

A store employee suffered “significant” but non-life-threatening injuries during the incident, police said in a media release.

An edged weapon used by one of the suspects during the attack was recovered at the scene. Several people are seen in the surveillance images and police said shortly after the incident they were looking for several suspects, but so far Hall is the only person police have arrested.

Hall will remain in custody until a provincial court appearance Monday, police said.
