Saskatoon police are investigating after a vehicle was stolen early Friday morning and then set on fire.
The SUV was reported stolen at about 4 a.m. and found in flames by police a half-hour later in an alley behind the 1800 block of Avenue C North.
Fire crews needed just a few minutes to control the blaze, according to the Saskatoon Fire Department. A section of fence was also damaged.
Investigators believe the fire was deliberate, but do not have anyone in custody.
Damage is estimated at $6,000. No one was injured.
