A Saskatoon woman is facing charges after an incident at a drive-thru in west Saskatoon on Wednesday.

Police were called to the 2200 block of 22 Street West around 7:30 p.m.

Two men had approached a vehicle that was stopped at the drive-thru. A verbal altercation took place and a 19-year-old passenger in the vehicle was stabbed in the face.

The woman driving the vehicle drove around the restaurant and reportedly attempted to hit the two men, striking one of them with her vehicle.

According to police, they arrived just as the woman was taking a second run at the men.

The stabbing victim refused to co-operate with police.

The 21-year-old man who was hit by the vehicle was checked by emergency personnel at the scene and released.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with impaired driving, refusing a breath test and two counts of assault with a weapon. She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
