SGI is busy processing more than 3,000 insurance claims after last week’s hail storm.
The Crown corporation says, so far, it has received 2,700 insurance claims for vehicles and more than 300 claims for property damage.
A fast-moving storm ripped through parts of Saskatchewan last Friday, dropping ping pong-sized hail.
SGI says it averages about 10,000 hail claims a year.
The insurance agency says people have up to two years to file a claim, but encourage them to make one as soon as possible.
