Search teams are still scouring the South Saskatchewan River Wednesday as support continues to come in for the family of a missing 17-year-old swimmer.

A fundraising page on youcaring.com has been set up to help the family of Justin Michael Warwaruk and the rescue teams searching for the teen.

Warwaruk, who recently graduated from high school in Outlook, disappeared Sunday evening while swimming at the Fred Heal Canoe Launch south of Saskatoon.

Efforts to find the teen have seen aircraft and watercraft scour the scene. About 30 volunteers, all friends and family, and RCMP were still searching Wednesday.

The fundraising page had raised nearly $24,000 and been shared more than 1,600 times as of Wednesday evening.
