A SaskPower worker has died after an accident happened on the job site.
Crews were restoring service to a high-voltage transmission line south of the town of Wakaw Saturday night when a worker was injured by the current in the line.
The worker, a 45-year-old man from Saskatoon, was taken to hospital in Rosthern but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Provincial occupational health and safety officers as well as SaskPower officials are investigating the incident.
