One of three suspects has been arrested in connection to a robbery and assault that happened Thursday afternoon.

Police arrested a 19-year-old woman after another 19-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted, sprayed with bear mase and had her purse stolen, police said in a news release.

The victim was walking in the Pleasant Hill area, at Avenue S and 21st Street, at around 3:45 p.m. when a woman began punching and kicking her, according to police. Then, two other women began assaulting the victim before she was sprayed with bear mace.

The three suspects then stole the victim’s purse and fled. She was left with what police believe to be minor injuries.

Officers are still searching for the other two suspects.
