A 25-year-old man from Saskatoon is facing one charge of break and enter following an early morning robbery.
Around 3:30 a.m., police received a call from a homeowner in the 300 block of Poplar Crescent. After arriving at the address, patrol officers found the garage had been broken into. A police plane was able to spot the suspect a few houses away from where officers responded.
The man was arrested in a backyard nearby in possession of stolen property, police said in a news release.
The suspect’s name has not been released at this time, but he is expected to appear in court or before a Justice of the Peace today.
