A 51-year-old Saskatoon man is dead after a van collided with a semi in southwest Saskatchewan.
The crash occurred Thursday in the northbound lane of Highway 4, about 21 kilometres north of Swift Current.
RCMP said in a media release a van travelling southbound collided with a northbound semi-trailer truck.
The lone occupant of the van died at the scene. He was from Saskatoon, according to RCMP. His name has not yet been released.
The 26-year-old driver of the semi was treated at the scene.
Weather and road conditions were good at the time of the crash, RCMP said.
Police are still investigating.
