A regional airline in Saskatchewan says it has made changes to make sure it doesn't again forget to pick up its customers.

TransWest Air abandoned a group of SaskPower employees working on a project in a remote northern area in April.

The nine workers built shelters and spent a night in the bush before a plane picked them up the next day.

SaskPower says an investigation has determined there was poor communication between the airline's dispatch and air crews.
