As a resident of Ward 8 for nearly three decades, Sarina Gersher brings a wealth of knowledge, commitment, and experience as a City Councillor candidate. With four generations of family in the ward, she understands the importance of building strong communities for all generations.
Sarina’s commitment to Saskatoon and its residents is reflected in her job with the Meewasin Valley Authority as a GIS Analyst. This career choice builds on Sarina’s Bachelor of Science from the University of Saskatchewan.
As a board member of the Saskatchewan Environmental Society and founding member of Bus Riders of Saskatoon, Sarina is active at City Hall, presenting and participating in consultations regarding Saskatoon’s growth plans.
When Sarina is not working or advocating for the community, she frequents local businesses and music hot spots, volunteers at a number of events and for a variety of causes, and keeps active with multiple athletic teams.
