One man is in hospital after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Avenue C North Sunday night.

The vehicle was travelling northbound at about 8:30 p.m. when the driver lost control, crossed the median and stuck heavy metal post before landing on the driver's side, Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services said in a news release.

Firefighters had to cut open the vehicle's roof to free the driver, who was trapped in the vehicle.

The driver was taken to Royal University Hospital with undetermined injuries. No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
