Schools in Kindersley, Sask. were placed under hold-and-secures Monday after RCMP received a report of a man inappropriately touching two youth in the town.

Mounties received the call at about 1 p.m. and the schools were locked within about 15 minutes. The report indicated the man was touching two youth on a side street between Main Street and Elizabeth School.

He was described as a man between 30 and 40 years old with a medium build and average height. He was wearing a black leather jacket with a black or grey toque, and had a thin beard, according to RCMP.

Investigators are still searching for the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 306-463-4642.

A police media release did not clarify when the hold-and-secures were lifted at the schools. During hold-and-secures, schools lock their outer doors but continue on as normal inside the building.
