Three people are facing drug-related charges after Pinehouse Lake RCMP seized 100 grams of cocaine during a traffic stop on Highway 165.

RCMP made the arrests after pulling over a vehicle at 3:30 p.m. Monday on Highway 165 between Pinehouse Lake and Beauval, Sask. Officers found about 100 grams of cocaine in the vehicle, according to RCMP.

Three people are facing charges in relation to the incident. A 27-year-old man from Edmonton is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and two counts of failing to comply with a recognizance. A 29-year-old woman from Pinehouse Lake and a second 27-year-old man from Edmonton are charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Beauval RCMP also assisted in the investigation. Pinehouse Lake is about 500 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
